Lot 10 Mt Pleasant Kakadu, a black 24 month old son of Mandayen Titus F1674, and dam Birubi Easy Steps E061 sold for the second highest price of $8,500 to Brett Jones, Parkes. This young bull weighed in at 734kg with scrotal circumference of 40cm.

“We were very impressed with the quality of the bulls, your selection for calmness, for meat quality along with conformation,” said retired breeder Bob Wharton.

It was a wonderful day to meet new clients, and to catch up with returning clients, with 7 of the bulls selling to new clients.

This followed success at both Forbes and Eugowra Shows, with Mt Pleasant Lancelot winning Supreme Exhibit of the Show and Mt Pleasant Knockout was Champion Senior Bull and Mt Pleasant was awarded Most Successful Exhibitor.

We would like to thank all the successful purchasers, the under bidders and all those who helped on the day. We look forward to seeing the bulls’ progeny next year.
