Our aim is to produce Limousin cattle, which will perform in our commercial environment - that is, sound, fertile, early maturing cattle that have a quiet disposition.
The achieve these objectives we have:
1. Weighed all of our cattle at birth and 200 days since our herd was established.
2. Docility tested our weaners and culled where necessary, since 1995.
3. Have been Breedplan recorded since 1994.
4. Have regularly entered bulls in grass fed and feed efficiency trials.
5. Participated in commercial cattle and carcase competitions.
6. Sold MSA cattle direct to abattoirs and received full carcase feedback.
We have travelled throughout Australia and inspected cattle in France and North America to identify sires that would help achieve our aims. As such our herd comprises of polled, horned, apricot and black cattle, but they are all sound, well performing, docile animals.
