Palmdale Limousin Stud was established in 1986. It has now relocated to “Riverside” - a 100 hectare property on the left bank of the Kalgan River, approximately 20 km east of Albany.
The property has been developed in accordance with best management practices to ensure its sustainability. Remnant vegetation has been fenced and enhanced and waterways have been protected. Palmdale has been drought proofed with establishment of perennial pastures, the construction of additional dams and the installation of a reliable bore and water supply system. All paddocks are connected by laneways to our cattle friendly yards.
The Palmdale home farm has been taken over by our former neighbours.
With the downsizing, we are retaining a base herd of approximately 50 stud cows plus followers.
Thanks to Kathryn and John Shapland, James and Casey Morris and Kathy and Barry Burgess in making this herd reduction a more fluent process than we anticipated.
Glenda and John would welcome any visitors.
