They also showed the Champion of two which were 9 month old Limousin X Shorthorn
calves still suckling their mums. The Overall Champion came from this winning
pen. Congratulations Trevor and Pat.

Wanted!
A Limousin X Shorthorn steer for Billabong High School (Culcairn NSW) to prepare
and show at the Sheffield Schools Competition in Tasmania in September this
year.
Billabong High School showed the Grand Champion Steer at Sydney Royal this year
and in so doing have developed a strong liking for Limousin.
If anyone can help with a suitable steer for Billabong High please let me know.
Also Wanted
I have been asked if we can provide 8 Limousin or Limousin cross feeder steers
around 400kg liveweight for the Southern Beef School at Glenouston College near
Terang Vic on 20-22 July. They want to "borrow" them for demonstration
purposes and will pay all feed and transport costs.
This will be a great opportunity to show off some good Limo cattle to the 80
to 100 participants in the school.
Please contact me if you can help.
