The Western Australian Region of the
Australian Limousin Breeders Society has 44 members dedicated to breeding high quality Limousin bulls suitable for:

  • Production of milk vealers for the domestic market by cross breeding with dairy cross cows.
  • Production of high yielding heavy steers and heifers suitable for export to Japan, Korea and the European Union as well as Australian hotel and restaurants. These may be finished on grass or finished in a feedlot for 80 to 150 days.
  • Production of high content Limousin cattle suitable for the growing market for low fat high yielding carcases from self replacing herds.
  • Production of Limousin and Limousin cross bulls suitable for live export to the Middle East.
